Fresh commodity chicken is brought in daily; our customer can expect maximum shelf life from our chicken. We offer a sized boneless-skinless breast program so that customers can maintain consistency on the plate. Whole birds are available split, quartered, or 8-piece cut. Boneless products such as chicken tenderloins and boneless breasts can be tumbled in marinade to retain moisture and flavor.
We source all-natural poultry from Joyce Foods in Winston, North Carolina. The Naked Bird brand offers an alternative to factory farmed commodity chickens. Their chickens are grown on family farms, cage free to roam in barns. They are fed a vegetable diet without antibiotics, hormones, arsenic, and never pumped with phosphates or other artificial ingredients. Joyce has also developed a unique program with small farmers in the Piedmont to produce products previously only offered in Europe. The intent is to preserve heritage breeds, old world farming methods and artisan production. The Epicure Reserve program offers the Poulet Rouge Fermier, an authentic Label Rouge chicken from France, regarded as the best in the world. Also from this program is the Pintade Fermiere, an authentic French Guinea Hen and the Faisan Blanc Fermier, the ultimate Pheasant.
