JONES VALLEY TEACHING FARM

Jones Valley Teaching Farm invests in our youth by partnering with Birmingham City schools offering cross-curricular lessons on farming, nutrition, and culinary arts with leadership opportunities and post-secondary pathways. They use food as a foundation so that young people can lead, create, and grow a healthy future for themselves and their community.

We’ve worked with JVTF for years partnering with them on events like Fonduel, chef demos, and dinners while also supporting them financially and with products for various events like their Twilight Supper.

Support JVTF by checking out their website at www.jvtf.org or by following them on Instagram @jonesvalleyteachingfarm.

OYSTER SOUTH

Oyster South is a charitable organization that connects communities and provides resources to foster the success of oyster farming in the southern United States. Their communities include oyster farmers, gear suppliers, research scientists, food distributors, chefs, restaurant owners, and more. They champion the success of oyster farmers, healthy waters, and good food by sharing experiences and highlighting oysters' key role in our region's food-way. We support them at their two annual events: Landlocked and Oyster Symposium.

Landlocked is a public event that focuses on captivating stories of oyster farms and shedding light on the resilience, innovation, and dedication to public attendees and industry professionals.

Oyster Symposium is a weekend-long event that brings together producers, gear suppliers, distributors, chefs, food writers, vendors, researchers, students, managers, and more from the South to discuss pressing issues and relevant, practical research on oyster aquaculture.
